About the Ragdoll
Named for their tendency to go limp and relaxed when picked up, like a ragdoll. Developed in California in the 1960s by Ann Baker. Large, semi-longhaired cats with striking blue eyes. One of the largest domestic cat breeds. Known for following owners from room to room, earning them dog-like reputations. All purebred Ragdolls descend from a white cat named Josephine.
