About the Bombay
Bred to resemble a miniature black panther, created in the 1950s from Burmese and black American Shorthairs. Copper to gold eyes against a jet black coat with a patent-leather shine. Warm, adaptable, and often attention-seeking lap cats. The name honors the Indian city though the breed is entirely American.
