About the Burmilla
Created accidentally in 1981 when a Chinchilla Persian male mated with a Lilac Burmese female. Their name is a combination of Burmese and Chinchilla. Known for their striking silver coat with dark tipping (shaded or shell). Large green eyes outlined in dark make them look like they are wearing eyeliner. More active than Persians but calmer than Burmese. Relatively new breed still gaining popularity.
