About the Colorpoint Shorthair
Developed by crossing Siamese with red tabby American Shorthairs and Abyssinians. Essentially a Siamese in non-traditional point colors. Recognized in 16 point colors beyond the four traditional Siamese colors. Same body type, voice, and personality as Siamese. Extremely social and demanding of attention. Some registries classify them as Siamese variants rather than a separate breed.
