Devon Rex
About the Devon Rex
Named after Devonshire, England where the first one appeared in 1960 as a natural mutation. Their soft, wavy coat and huge bat-like ears give them an elfish appearance. One of the few hypoallergenic breeds. Extremely people-oriented — they want to be with you constantly. Known for their acrobatic abilities and love of high places. Sometimes called poodle cats due to their curly coat. Very active and playful even as adults.
