Somali
About the Somali
Essentially a long-haired Abyssinian. Appeared naturally in Abyssinian litters as recessive long-hair genes expressed. Nearly sterilized out of existence before breeders recognized them as a separate breed. Their ticked coat is even more dramatic than the Abyssinian due to longer hair. Very active and curious. Known for being mischievous — they will open cabinets and doors. Fox-like appearance with a full bushy tail.
