About the Exotic Shorthair
Essentially a short-haired Persian, created by crossing Persians with American Shorthairs in the 1950s. Called the lazy man Persian because they have the same sweet personality without the grooming demands. Same flat face as Persians but with a plush, dense short coat. One of the most popular breeds in the US. Playful but not demanding. Their round face and big eyes give them a perpetual kitten expression.
