About the Himalayan
A cross between Persian and Siamese, combining Persian body type with Siamese color points. Developed in the 1930s by Harvard researchers. Named after the Himalayan rabbit and mouse which have similar coloration. Essentially a pointed Persian — some registries classify them as a Persian division rather than separate breed. Their flat face requires daily care. Calm and devoted companions.
