About the Ocicat
Named for a resemblance to the ocelot, yet developed entirely from Siamese, Abyssinian, and American Shorthair lines with no wild blood. The first litter appeared by accident in 1964. Spotted coat in a dozen recognized colors. Very social, and many learn to fetch and greet visitors at the door.
