Siberian
About the Siberian
A natural breed from Siberia, Russia, developed over 1,000 years. Their triple coat provides insulation in extreme cold. One of the largest domestic cat breeds. Known for loving water — many will join their owners in the bath. Claimed to be hypoallergenic due to lower Fel d 1 protein levels (scientifically debated). Very agile despite their size. Slow to mature, taking up to 5 years. Featured in Russian fairy tales.
