About the Turkish Angora
One of the oldest natural breeds, documented in Turkey for centuries and a likely source of the white longhair gene in many modern breeds. Famed for a silky coat, plumed tail, and frequently odd-colored eyes. Treasured in Turkey with a protected breeding program at Ankara Zoo. Athletic and playful well into adulthood, often fascinated by running water.
